Meet Lynda
Founder and Executive Director
Hello, I'm Lynda Pitz, and this a little bit about me and my story in starting A Better Way Nanny Referral (ABW). As a parent, saying goodbye to my children when heading to work was always emotionally challenging. Fortunately, my background as a former nanny provided me with a trusted network of individuals who could care for them, granting me peace of mind and allowing me to focus on work without constant worry. This realization fueled my desire to offer the same assurance to other parents, leading to the creation of ABW. For three decades, my passion has been ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and providing parents with the assurance that the right person is looking after their precious ones. I believe in more than just sending candidates; I believe in creating lasting relationships that prioritize the well-being and flourishing development of every child. Year after year, witnessing the positive impact the agency has made on so many lives, gave me a desire to do more. In my personal life, I make an effort to help make a better world. This dedication extends to nurturing foster children, providing financial support to International Nanny Training Day, actively volunteering with Rotary and Immaculate Heart of Mary, teaching Yoga, and rescuing two dogs – a Pocket Bully and a Husky. Together, we can build a brighter future for children and families alike by supporting our communities.
